About Hopen Fisk AS
Hopen Fisk AS is a fish processing company located in Hopen, Vågan municipality, strategically positioned in the heart of Lofoten, close to rich fishing grounds.
The facility is built in accordance with current food industry standards and today stands as one of the most modern and flexible fish processing plants in Northern Norway. This has allowed for increased processing of products, moving beyond being solely a raw material supplier.
Hopen Fisk AS has aimed to invest in a modern and efficient machinery setup at the facility and to utilize it through effective and streamlined production lines. Overall, the company has maintained a strong focus on food safety, traceability, and hygiene, in line with customers’ increasing demands for product quality documentation. In addition to approvals from the Norwegian Food Safety Authority, the company has achieved MSC certification and KRAV certification.
We have therefore been very conscious in continuously striving for high environmental and ethical standards, which we believe has been decisive for many of our customers when choosing a supplier.
In 2016, Brødrene Sperre became our new owner.
